Most all there lighters on Ebay are scams. Few zippos were actually engraved in country. The lighters engraved on the streets of Saigon by Vendors there were usually ALCOR or ALCON lighters made in either Japan or Korea and were a zippo knock off. Real zippos were from PX and were sometimes engraved on streets.  The engraving was often free hand and of pooreer quality. Exceptions were the PX zippos taken to actual shops and machine engraved. Few of those lighters are ever sold. These rusty "battlefield pickups etc are of current manufacture in country and are being sent to USA in Bulk. They are neither zippo old or from the war.

Beware
