Why spend money on walnut ink when your leftover coffee squirted from a spray bottle does the trick?  When working on a heritage scrapbook or another priceless scrapbook I would use walnut ink to age my materials.  If I'm working on embellishing a paperbag album or aging cards for handmade greeting cards or gift tags I pour my leftover coffee from the morning into a spray bottle and give my white tags a couple of sprays to get the aged look I want.  If you want them to smell good you can add a couple of drops of vanilla until it gets the scent you want.  To hurry the drying process you can spread them on a cookie sheet and dry in a low oven for a few minutes. I use an old cookie sheet that already has a dark finish so cleanup is a breeze. Or I leave them on newspaper if I'm not going to work on them until the next day and let them dry overnight. I'm going to do this with my handmade Christmas gift tags this year.  They look good, smell good and have that great vintage look!
