BUYER BEWARE:
Some sell a generic cellphone car charger for the w300i, often listed as compatible with the w600I, W810i, and Z525 as well.
This charger is not compatible with the w300i.
Others sell the OEM cellphone car charger for the w300i, often listed as compatible with the w810i as well.
This one, on the other hand, is compatible with the w300i.
I am a buyer, not a seller - and purchased the generic first (didn't work), had it replaced (still didn't work), and finally bought the OEM (works great).
The generic seems pretty flimsy, and if you look closely enough in a picture for the item, you can see that there are only 2 metal prongs in the connection. This is one way to spot this one that does not work for the w300i. It plugs in and lights up, but will not make a connection with or charge the w300i. I don't know if it works for the other models it says it works for, but I would be wary.
The OEM appears to be a very sturdy and well-made car phone charger, the best I have seen. If you look closely enough in a picture of this item, you will see that it has metal prongs spanning the entire width of the connection. This one works with the w300i. The added benefit of this charger is that it has an additional plug in that you can plug in a headset or a headset to cassette tape adapter to listen to mp3s in your car on your phone while charging at the same time! It also has a switch that turns of and on a light!
Not a very expensive mistake I made, but an annoyance I hope I have helped you avoid by writing this guide (click on Yes below)!

P.S. I notified the seller who sold the first that their product was not compatible with the w300i. They very quickly sent me a second one. It was the same exact product - not compatible with the w300i. I notified them again to let them know that their product is simply not compatible with the w300i, but they (and others) are still selling it as such.
