hi, vmax lovers.the 2008 vmax is going to be awesome or so they say. know your prices-look at the nada prices before you buy. also be aware of shipping it can cost between 500 to 1500 to ship.this is on top of what your final bid is. depending on where the the bike is and where it is going. and if you want it crated. if you do not crate it. it can get damaged. and if you never seen the bike before you bid and bought it. it will be very hard to prove if it was there or not. plus title fee's, registration fee's, your state taxes.
also out of state bikes when they come to you, before you register the bike, they needs to be evaluated by local law enforcement- to verify the vin #'s. on the frame and the motor. they have to MATCH! many states HAVE THIS LAW. check 1st before you buy. if they do not match, you will have a major problem REGISTERING THE BIKE WITH A CLEAR TITLE.
be careful don't get scammed no matter what the price of the bike is.you wouldn't want a box of rocks to come, nor do you want to be waiting for a delievery , that will never ever show.
verify everything don't get burned.
get phone #'s address's, ask the person if they are willing to bring the bike to there local dealer to check the bike out and be shipped from there location. pay a fee for them to be the middle man. to ensure the bike exist's. AND IT IS AS THEY CLAIM IT TO BE.
pictures can be very decieving.
if you can go see the bike, go! also look at the title, it might say clear, but when you get yours' it could say something else. or if you go to reregister it and title it in your name, it could also say something else.
be careful.
we do love these bikes , just make sure you get what you paid for.
