10) carlos sim helu. $60billion dollars. this guy is from mexico and owns over 200 companies under his thumb and rakes in 27 million dollars a day. thats a lot of money

9) warren buffet. $62billion dollars. he invests well and buys companies that he likes. also in a joint effort with mars for a $23billion to buy wrigley. also has donated billions of dollars to the gates foundation

8) sam walton. $62.6billion dollars. he undercuts the competition and makes millions of dollars every day. now his kids run the company.

7) marshall field $63.7billion dollars. made his money in the retail industry. he was no sam walton but knew the industry well.

6) frederick weyerhauser $76.5 billion dollars. made his money in the lumber industry that would be considered unconstitutional by today standards but opened up the country for major farming communities and other operations.

5) john jacob astor 116.6 billion dollars. made most of his money in the fur trade that today would have every animal treatment agency wanting to lynch him. after this made even more money in the new york real estate area.

2) andrew carnegie. 297.8 billion dollars. made all his money in an industry that is still respectable by today standards. and on top of that he donated just as much as he made in the industry.

1) john d rockefeller sr. $323.4 billion dollars. made all of his money in the oil industry and the standard oil company. his company would dwarf microsoft but the government was all over him to dismantle his company. as well donated the same amount to all sorts of worthy causes.
