One would think that in order to watch a series of any kind, it's best to start at the beginning.  However, with the L word, you will find your favorite episodes to watch time after time, or just grab one to see again.  But in the beginning, now with season 5 about to start, where does one begin if they haven't seen any of the previous seasons shows?  Let's see, where did I leave off....season 1, episode 3?  No matter! All the shows are pretty much self contained and knowing what happened before isn't a criteria for watching.  This show is the spin off of the gay guy show, Queer as Folk, but with this one, it's not soap operaish (is that a word; it is now!)
