Think about that, till today, most wooden box are still hand made products, the most cost for humidors are coming from labor cost to made the humdiors. For good humdior, each case is handcrafted from hardwood veneer coated with 8 layers of lacquer. Then each layer of lacquer is baked for 3 days before being sanded and polished by hand. So if same material been used, the only factor that affect the price is where it made from and where are you buying it from. For example, a 100% cutton T-Shirt, you could spent $200 or more for a famous name brand T-Shirt in luxury department store, or get it less than $10 from outlet store. They just same item made by same materials. Your budget and aesthetic needs should determine your choice. The cigars don't care either way.
