I bought a half dozen Mansilk style M333 in bordeaux, cornflower blue and platinum.

They shredded (honest) the very first time I wore them. Material is very thin. Substandard. I went to throw them in the wash and the crotch was worn through. They pulled to nothing...shreds...on the bias...bad fabric.

 I bought these in a much larger size than I normally wear so I would be comfortable.

I bought from bare necessities. Bare necessities does have a 100% return but you have to return pay shipping. Only unworn products can be returned. So I can return only the new in package ones...Who wants the hassle of finding the invoice, getting an RMA, making a shipping label and waiting 60 days for a refund?? I cannot get my money back on the substandard shorts I wore. Bare Necessities is doing themselves a disservice by selling this Mansilk product.

I bought several brands of silk boxers. I love the Jockey brand..but I did not see them on their website. I spoke with Jockey and they no longer stock.  Stafford brand was ok.

I just bought ten pairs of Intimo off Ebay. They seem fine. Nice sexy packaging too. I bought some intimo brand..off intimo website. They were having a sale (yippee) so I got the ones I liked for 25% off then used retailmenot to get a code bb23 for another 20% off. Thus got new silk boxer for $12. If you look on intimo site they also have discount. They had an offer to ship first class for three bucks if you don't need tracking. Cool.  Amazon reviewers indicates the intimo silk disintegrate after 15 washings.

Well shuckie Dern..the Intimo black boxes shredded as well. I think I am going to reinforce them with fabric with an opposite bias.

If you have any experience with great silk boxers...please do a write up. I love silk boxers. Just not Mansilk. Or Intimo..

Caveats...
If you buy from Asian sellers..watch the size. They can run very very very small.  Look at how large the waist is. Some of the boxers run small. Amazon says Mansilk runs small.

Watch material..some say silk..but are really polyester...like silky satin.
