I have been producing shadow box mouldings for about twenty years.  I make many interesting finishes -  burr wood,  aged natural wood, pine wood gilded with silver or gold. All shadow boxes are lined with 100% cotton board, or pure silk cloth. I am interested in learning more about the subject. I have seen hundreds of old pictures in the course of my trade, and has learnt alot about the effect of the ernvironment on pictures etc. During the course of my work i have descovered a woodworm trap which at least gives an indication of the presence of woodwaorm.  Is anyone interested to share the experience?
