hai

it is seen that many buyers put,4 or 5 days maximum time for clearing payment at the same time opting for provision of m/o or draft or check

but usually a check or draft even if we take in the same day as auction closes, will take for eg from india to usa ,seven days with the speedest postal courier,,this sellers should consider when putting the time of clearing payment

as they are simply putting the time ,ebay shuld give a provision of minimum7 days, in clearing payment time, incase seller accepts check or draft,,for paypal only they can put any time no problem

otherwise what happens is that, suppose i take a draft and send on the same day of auction closing,,it takes 7 days to us from india, after 5 days the seller opens dispute(as he has put only 5days in the ads)of not gettinf paid

the draft reaches there after 7 days

then by this time the poor buyer is in waters,,as even after getting the draft, most buyers will not say it as ,they have opened dispute, and so buyer mostly looses the amount, seller gets it but he will not agree he got it,again he can sell item, with the benefit of money at th ecost of listing charge,a friend of mine had same experience from ebay sellers, and finally he was out,and lost many drafts, after sending  draft, nobody is there to see his problems, only as seller put 4or5 days in getting payment, buyers from many countries in international bidding suffers this,,pl find a solution for this,by making it a policy at least 7--8 days time, for clearing payment, incase check/draft is a payment provision

we have to give sufficient time for it to reach,,why all sellers seem so greedy in getting payment?the buyer has to believe them, and obey all the rules and finally he looses his draft after that nobody solves these issues,as usually the first party opening the disput usually gains upperhand
