Watch out Ebayers!!  I know a family that was clipped for $6400.00 in Gillette Wyoming on a phony car purchase that was advertised in the Casper Star Tribune on an older Camero, with a phone number and an email address, with a cheap price on a '67  Camero  for about $6800.00 (approx). They are using newspaper ads now, not just the internet.

They sent pictures, and emailed back and forth, seller said the money was guaranteed through a YAHOO Financial escrow service(PHONY!!!!), you send the money, they ship the car, and you have 2-3 days to inspect the car, and a money back guarantee if you're not satisfied.  Allrighty then!! You sends the money through

western union, they pick up their money, and all you have for your money is a picture of the crook walking out of the Western Union store with your hard earned money!!

The police were called, but to date they have done nothing. The mnoey was sent to Seattle and picked up there.  The phone number that was used was somewhere in Ohio (car was supposed to be there), The person at the phone number used said someone else used his number, he was not involved, and did not know the seller of the car.

point is, if it's too good to be true, it probably is!!  These scammers are pros, and the cops are pretty much unable to do anything, because there are too many out there to catch. This young family lost $6400.00, a credit card advance, now they are suffering due to some lousy con artist.

If you're buying anything, if you can't verify the seller by a phone number, or see it in person, watch out!!

I have a website that advertises Campers, boats , and vehicles, and some one posted an ad for a motor home for sale, a buyer traded his older motor home in on the one in the ad, and the motor home that was advertised belonged to someone else, so the buyer lost his money and his trade in!!

We have also had the scammers call through a IP Relay(deaf person relay) trying to buy a  camper with a stolen credit card (credit card showed good till we called a different bank fraud number) Watch out,

the theives are ruthless, they laugh at the gullible people, but their day is coming, they will have a big price to pay for what they think are smart deeds.  Good luck and be carefull!!
