Before you put your hard earned money down for something that doesen't exist... There are many auctions on eBay offering "unlocked' iPhones. Be aware, that the iPhone has NOT yet been unlocked so you can simply place a SIM from T-Mobile (the only other carrier this phone could be used on) and use it on another network. When you purchase an iPhone, it is basically a brick until you activate it. DVD Jon an others have come up with a way to circumvent this requirement, with some software that is freely about the internet. This bypasses the activation, and allows the iPhone to be used as an iPod and Wi-Fi internet device. You CANNOT, at this time use an iPhone with ANY other cellular network than AT&T - it simply has not been cracked yet.
