Yes ,the cute plastic/resin type statues from the 1960's-1980's w/funny/cute sayings are known as "Sillisculpts".From left to right in photo-R&W Berrie's,Paula,& American Greeting's(This one has Google eyes.)Popular sayings were-"I Wuv U This Much"."World's Greatest...." & more. Made by R &W Berrie,Paula,& American Greetings they were the popular gift for just about any subject -Birthdays,retirement,Love,Risque,etc. Highly sought after ones come in assorted colors,Red,Pink,Blue. Some have  Troll like hair-  these are harder to come by & more desirable to the collector. Also ,some came with Google eyes.I noticed quite a few of these statues listed on Ebay Auction & I have sold quite a few on Ebay & now you know what they are called. Most statues are numbered ,dated,& marked with the company name which makes it a lot easier for the collector to catalog. R & W berrie statues are heavier & are filled w/sand.Make sure they are not leaking sand & they should have a felt bottom.Paula statues are more light weight & solid.American Greeting statues usually have Googly eyes & filled w/sand also. They should have a stopper on bottom.American Greetings statues are called-"Mad Chatters"Some Berrie Sillisculpts are large around 12" High. These are highly sought after also.A lot of the older statues were not dated or numbered. They may have a foil sticker on the bottom instead. Some statues have plastic hearts, eyeglasses, candles on birthday cakes, etc.Make sure these are not missing. There  are quite a few out there & they still make great gifts today. They are listed under Collectibles on Ebay. I have found very little info on these & if anyone comes across more info on them please let me know!   Hope this article was of help! P.S. If u think that's brown paint spilled on your statue- it's the poor quality paint job from the factory as the years went by.  Also,The statues were billed as Unbreakable-They are pretty stable but yes, they can break and or chip.
