If you follow RC at all you know that a descent car is going to start around 350 and go up. It will have an engine name you have heard of, and a company manufacture listed in the ad. If these oblivious things are missing, and the price is too good to be true, then it is time to do some considering.

First off they never mention the brand or show you the inside of the car, just the body and usually a guy holding it. They list the features, but they are very vague about who made it and where it came from and tend to say things like it will change parts with brand name cars or trucks.

Most of us that know RC understand that very, very few actual parts will cross over between brands. Besides the fact that nothing is standardized in the industry, it just does not work that way. So here I am looking to see if I like RC, or a younger person short on funds trying to get the best bang for my buck. Nothing wrong with that if these dealers were selling a descent product, problem is they are not!

There is no parts support for most of these Chinese junk cars and trucks and as soon as the supply is gone you will never hear or see these guys again. All they want is a quick sale and don't care that you will be stick with a car or truck that in a very short amount of time will be useless. The old adage about you get what you pay for is true, but in this respect you are going to get less. With brand X engines, no parts support and inferior workmanship and materials, all add up to short lived products.

It is time for the people in this country to stop with the Wal-Mart attitude that cheaper is better and start supporting manufactures that have stood the test of time and are made in free countries not communist dictatorships. I personally will not send any more of my hard earned money to the communist Chinese, or put up with their inferior or poisonous junk any longer and I am asking you to join me, besides, if you run T-Maxx on the ebay search engine, you can get every part for it and every hop-up you can imagine for a fair price, and they are a Texas based company that manufactures in Taiwan.

They are trying to trade on the good name of several good manufactures to pass off their junk. Resist the temptation to buy one and save your money for something that will last. I saw an ad for a Schumacher car that has been out of production for 5 years, brand new, and i/3rd what it costs for a used one, needless to say it was not a Schumacher, but a crude Chinese copy.

The bottom line is nitro trucks and cars are hard on parts and need to be maintained to keep running, one bad move at 45 MPH and you will quickly see how easily they will break. If you cannot get the necessary repair parts then what do you have? A paper weight that cost you plenty, so take my advice and buy a brand named truck or car that you have heard of and can easily find parts for here on ebay, otherwise you are in for a big disappointment.
