hello  i have found a small company that is cutting windshields for motorcycles. they are known as clarks custom windshields.. you will find them in ebay motorcycle parts. these people are the best. alot of people are makeing shields for bikes , but these are the best. they have a design that deflects wind better than any others on the market. he cuts two different shapes and i have tried both for the bat farring on my street glide and they are the best. i have traded my streetglide for an 07 roadglide. i sent pat a pattern for the screw holes and he designed one and sent it to me, it fits great and looks sharp.the one he sent is 3 and1/4 inch shorter than the factory one and blocks almost as much air. HE IS THE ONLY ONE THAT GAVE IT A SHOT.he offers clear,lite tint and dark tint in both a rounded top and a straight top. he also drills mounting holes with no slits so it has more strength than slotted holes.i have ordered one that is 1 and 1/4 inch shorter than the harley factory shield, i am six foot tall and if his ten inch knocks out most of the wind , i cant wait to try the taller one. pat gives the customer the choice of heigths and tints. as far as shipping it is ASAP which is very quick and comes in a hard cardboard sleve.they are very nice people to deal with and have went out of there way to design a GREAT WINDSHIELD AT A SUPER PRICE. once i receive the one for my heigth, i will be orderring a clear,lite tint and dark tint.i ride alot and the shields are fantastic. when i traded my streetglide in the harley dealer had me leave the custom shield on the bike.they stated it would be a great selling point.my bike stayed on the sales floor two days , and the new owner loves the new windshield. so dont drag on ordering your shield, once they get seen around more, then you might have to stand in line for yours.. ps.... the cost is way better than any harley shield and more likely to change the whole look of your bike. ride long ride hard and be comfortable.... tom
