If you have a 120 volt or a 230 volt mig welder and you either want to weld aluminum or a get a 20' cable for getting at those extended places then the Miller Spoolmate 100 ,3035 or 3545 spoolgun if for you.
These guns can easily be hooked up to almost any mig welder allowing you to weld steel, stainless steel, aluminum , silicon bronze or flux mig wire.
The hookup consists of a Miller spoolgun 100 ,3035 or 3545 hooking up to a Miller SGA 100 Control Box. The Sga 100 control box has a 120 volt ac cord, a cable for hooking up to your + (positive) lead (for solid wire) , a gas hose and 2 trigger wires . The trigger wires hook up to where your regular mig gun trigger wires hook up so as to turn the contactor on and off. If you have a machine that uses a euro quick connection ( round screw on type ) you need to either splice in a plug so as to plug in the miller spoolgun in or your regular mig gun in . A 120 volt male and female ( like on an extension cord ) work fine . The triggers wires are contact closure on most machines and there is no voltage present. Please check your owners manual to make sure or call the manufacturer to inquire about the trigger circuit. When you hook up the weld cable to your positive terminal you can use a tweco quick disconnect as this will allow you to remove the spoolgun easily when not in use.

If you want the 250 amp larger setup the Miller 15A ( 15') or a 30A ( 30') Spoolgun and a control box may be what is needed for your application .
The control box for most non-miller gas or diesel welders is a WC-115 or a WC 115A (contactor) . These work on either sitck or mig mode and on DC welding current. They also need a 120 volt ac plug .
The NEW Spoolmate 100 is a direct plug in for miller mig welders on the new Millermatic 140's, 180's and Passport Plus there is no adapter needed. On other migs a SGA 100 is reguired .
