once you wash and condition your wig, towel blot then use a wide tooth comb.most wigs you have to wait till there dry then comb or use wig brush. with my hair pieces its safe to comb while damp,because of how there made. try to avoid blow drying it can dry hair and start split ends use rollers in stead of curling irons,remember to comb or brush starting at the ends working your way up and youll get a professionel look and longer life to your wig.
