Evidently classic car sellers think we are all out of touch. I see it everyday, a 25 or 30 year old car with 20 thousand original miles. they usually have had new paint , new brakes, interior, paint, and whatever. Younger buyers may not know that older cars turn back to zero at 100 thousand miles and start over. so a low milage car may actually have 220 thousand miles on them. too many get a maaco paint job for a few hundred dollars and some seat covers from PUI for a few hundred and try to sell the car as a great old original thats been in storage fo the last 20 years. Even a car that has been in storage will have many problems after so long of time as seals dry up, radiators and heaters rot out, hoses and fuel lines deteriorate, brake lines rot out ect. ect. so when you try and start it, fluids run all over. also beware of cars that have no license plate on them. many are just a picture of a car they got somewhere and they are going to steal your down payment. I have told people i will come and get it and pay in cash and they never get back to me. Always check feedback and if its cheap items they are dealing with to raise their score, DONT BUY FROM THEM
