I have noticed a lot of people are computerizing their karaoke shows, well the fact is it may be illegal!!

The KAPA (Karaoke Against Piracy Agency) organization has a web site that explains what is legal and what isn't as far as COPYING or downloading to your hard drive. Guess what if you download to your hard drive it is illegal to play it for compensation!!!! It is a form of copying for profit. Unless you get a signed piece of paper for EACH song on your drive or purchase a hard drive with licensed CONTENT (not just licensed windows or player) it is illegal!!!! Even if the company is out of business it is still illegal to copy or burn the content for profit!!!
