DON'T DO IT!!!!
Wake up - don't be a last minute bidder.
Ask questions from the seller.
Gucci Handbags - Where is the serial number? Even vintage Gucci had serial numbers. So don't fall for I don't see one. It should be very plain to the sight if the bag has one or not.
I saw a plastic Louie go for over $100.00 - plastic. I asked the seller. "Does it have a serial number?" the reply was "nope" avoid this at all costs. This was a plastic handbag for crying out loud.
Dooney and Bourke - All Dooney and Bourke have no serial number but they do have something in common. They have a label. The vintage Dooney will have a red white and blue tag with the style number behind it. Later the Dooney had a Green and Red tag sewn into the sip pocket on the inside of the bag but no style number. The very very vintage Dooney had no label and no style number. So how do you know it's a Dooney. One sure thing all Dooney and Bourke handbags have in common is this. They are well crafted. If it's vintage and no tags the leather should be a dark carmel color from use. The bag will be leather if not all of it the handel for sure.
