Got 40 hours about out of my 4.1's. Then the amp ( which is inside a box to begin with) heated enough to begin and finally damage a couple cheap capacitors to ruin the power supply too. Well here we are 5 years later with low hours on this set and klipsch says they don't service or repair the 4.1's anymore. What a surprise! Then I was told that the technical dept would not "release" any schmatic to me to determine the values of these severly discolored capacitors- which would likely only cost a few dollars at any radio shack. But no...Not even any techy was on any permission to simply get on the phone with me and simply tell me what the capacitors value is. Point is- unless this is cetain, one can't just guess and plug it in to see if your right!
One option I have this...never do business with klipsch. There is No Customer Service- even when one can fix it himself but needs the part numbers. Good thing the auto makers don't just quit carrying parts for vehicles only five years old!
