Well to start things off my name is Marlon.

I have been collecting nike jordans for sometime now. I remember when I bought my first pair in 1986. When the jordan 1 came out. The red/black/white color... any of you old school people know  what  I am talking about.

Anyways just to make this short.. You always need to have in stock any  original or retro air jordans no matter what number they are. In doing so you will have somthing to compare with the non-authentics to authentics just in case when you are in doubt about your purchase of jordan shoes for your collection.

My authentic collections of air jordans include the 1995 ds 11, retro 11,low cut 11,12,13,,14,18,19,20,8,7.

For this purpose and explanation my comparison will be a retro jordan xi. AHHH the most popular jordan shoe.

Things to look for when purchasing a jordan xi shoe.

1: educate,educate,educate yourself with knowledge.

2: look inside the label of the shoe:

a: jordan xi royal/black (space jam color) serial #136046   041   00

b: jordan xi white/blk serial #136046   101  00

3: look at the under sole. Carbon fiber and hard and all black.

authentic carbon should not crack. fake carbon fiber cracks after couple of wears.

4:outer  sides of the shoe. the patent leather should not have a high arc or medium to wavy arc.

5: its all about the box. fake jordan boxes comes with serial number on the lip part of the inner box.

6: jordan xi retroes did not come with opaque white tissue paper. but the original jordan xi series did come with opaque white tissue paper.

7: jordan xi colors are space jam blk/royal,red/blk,white/columbia,cool grey and if i did not miss anything. 

fake ones come in crazy unauthorized colors: gucci,red/yellow, all black,blue/white and so on.

Now I am not saying to you jordan hardcore fans ,who collect shoes and dont even use it to play, to go out there and buy jordan grade AAA.  Your at your own risk. I dont control what you do in purchasing the shoe of your choice nor I am promoting such a thing.. My Explanation and experiences are used to educate people out there.

 Buyers beware! No shoe store makes jordan xi no more there is no such thing. If you want originals or retroes the will cost you 299 to 599 dollars! Period!! if you are rich and have access to nikes jordan platform for producing jordan xi then you would be in HEAVEN.  I myself would not even tell you. I keep it to my self period.

Anyways have a safe one out there and please educate yourself when purchasing any jordan name brand>>>>>>> Like I said from the Start...you should have bought the original or retro jordans in the first place.
