One point about the iTunes gift cards that was not made is:
 There are thousands of people out there that do not have access to
or are unable to get a credit card. These people can buy there iTunes code
and set up and fund an iTunes accont!

So people do not live in the states and thus getting cards is not always an easy task.

This is where the sales come from!
