Let’s get to the truth about this phone. The iPhone currently on the market goes for $600+ US dollars. However is it really worth it? Below I’ll place the Pros and Cons that I’ve noticed myself playing around with it for about 2 weeks – hopes this helps before deciding to buy one. From a business perspective this phone is definitely awful and do not recommend. This is no were close to being a smartphone like others on the market. Blackberry users please avoid this phone as this will not allow you to sync up to an exchange server!!! Does not have the ability to editing office documents, voice calls through Wifi forget about it and no voice dialing!
The phone itself is wonderful for teenagers which want to show off there new gadget however not that great for smartphone users. The iPhone does not have a removable battery which is awful just incase you need a spare. You have to contact Apple for the replacement and fees apply to that. The phones sells for over $600 US and for what it has is not worth considering buying for. Would be nice to customize Caller ID with background images, however not the case! Does not have the ability to expand your memory which is one my biggest concerns for a 4/8 GB phone. We all know filling up a phone only takes a matter of time before we need more free data! Not able to transfer files via Bluetooth?? (not sure what Apple was thinking there). iPhone has a 2 MP camera however it doesn’t allow you to take videos which is ridiculous to me. You cannot send pictures thru MMS. And having music ringers from iTunes would also be nice but not the case…I couldn’t even have my own ringers that I used off a previous phone, hopefully Apple re-thinks and sees the flaws customers are experiencing now with this “high-end phone”. The EGDE network is crappy way too slow! It becomes an issue if your not around using WiFi on a daily basis. Using EGDE gave me a flashback of using 14.4 modem back in the days while I wanted to download a song off a PnP application ie: Napster (it felt like I was getting older just waiting for it to complete). I know all this negative info doesn’t really help out the overall phone however it does have some decent features such as: the touch screen interface is user friendly. The image is clean, crisp and wonderful to look at. The browsing once again was a wonderful experience to play with. The phone itself comes with internal ring tones which are pretty nice no complaints there! The overall size (stated above) is not that bad in size it’s pretty comfortable. Multi-tasking thru applications is fairly well and smooth, SMS texting is fair. The screen is glass and the overall look is pretty stunning. Would I consider buying this phone? No, after I’ve played around with this phone daily I have realized you can buy a pretty decent smartphone for a fraction of the cost of this phone and still have all the same technology and better yet!
I hope this guide helps customers and newbies about the phone and the flaws it comes with when buying! Please be kind enough to rate this after reading - thanks again for reading my overall experience with the phone! Best of luck!
