If your trying to decide wether to get the i880 Nextel phone or the ic902 Nextel/Sprint phone here are a few things to help you decide:

The i880 is a IDEN only based cell phone which only runs on one network. By far i would rate this phone one of nextels best and yet worst cell phones. Reception wise and features on the i880 are astonishing. However, the i880 cell phone has had a massive problems dealing with hardware defects with the flips of the phones. Many of them end up having inverted displays, no backlights, or white screens. However this can be fixed by taking it in to your local Nextel/Sprint shop and having it replaced under your insurance. Other then that, these phones are great.

The ic902 is both a CDMA and an IDEN cell phone which runs on both networks and thus comes with the name "Hybrid Cell Phone". This phone is neat in some ways and annoying in others. The good things about this phone is that the recent calls is almost endless, where as the i880 only shows the last 30-60 or so. Also the resolution on the displays are much better and if you are on a call and recieve a walkie talkie dispatch, you will be notified that you missed a walkie talkie call since the iden network is free, it allows you to be alerted. The i880 does not do that. But the things about the ic902 which are annoying is that most of the time it has a small lag issue along with when you recieve missed alerts, the alert light keeps flashing even though you dismissed the alerts. Also has some glitches where it will ring when its on vibrate sometimes. Gets annoying.
