are you interested in starting a stamp collection but are not sure how to? i can help you i have had a collection for over 5 years now and i have first day covers us and world wide stamps world wide first day covers stamps and coins toghter and i also have some rare stamps as well. well to start off with is only collect what you want not what your nextdoor neighbor likes either differnt groups of stamps or different countrys. also i would suggest to go to your closest post office and see what they have every year there are at least 80 different kinds of issues some post offices sell albums to. but if you really want to get into collecting i know two different companys that would be a great help. they have anything that collectors want you can even get a stamps on approval where they send you stamps every month and you choose the ones you want and send the rest back. the first company is mystic stamp company which is in camden new york and kenmore stamp company in new hamispire. check them out they will be a big help for your collection. but rember get what you only like there are so many things you can choose from. i also like to tell you a story about a stamp that any stamp collector can never get. it`s a ben franklin stamp with him on it and there are only two of them in the world. mystic stamp company has one and a library in new york has the other. it`s worth 1,000,000 dollars as it has been passed down from different collections and are then sold. in order to get it you would at least offer 10,000,000 to get it. well i hope this will be a big help about how to collect stamps. as time goes along you will appreciate stamps like i and anyone else who collects stamps do. i hope your collection will be a great collection!
