wish you could decorate your own cake , but you don't know the first thing about baking ? go to your favorite bakery shop and order 3 or 4 different size cakes just iced and a simple border, no decoration, get a multiple tier one time use cake stand and put the appropriate size layer on the tier plate. now you can get creative . you can use silk flower candle rings, ready made icing flowers. silk arrangements you make yourself or even fresh flowers from the grocerie's flower section or special arrangements done by your florist, especially for your cake. keep it simple and understated, some of the most beautiful cakes i have seen are simply elegant not too overdecorated. wrap tulle or organza around the base , add some lights and voila, you have one beautiful wedding cake. done by you or someone who loves you
