its easy to make your own molds you can use amaco no 25 clay. say for instance you want to cast a iece of jewelry you found. you will take a empty juice box like tropicana and cut off the top to where it is about 2 to 3 inches deep. it makes a good 4 x 4 mold or so. now take your piece of jewelry and glue it to the bottom of the juice container. now you are going to add a separator so the clay doesnt stick to the piece. like dish soap or you can buy a good separator from the clay store. now put a good coating on. not sloppy just a good coating. now take your kneeded clay and put over the piece and fill in all of the gaps. ...flip it over and carefully remove the mold from the container. if it is a metal piece you may want to allow the mold to air dry just a bit before trying to remove the piece of jewelry.now take the jewelry out and you are ready to fire your mold.

you want to set the kiln to take 1 1/2 hours to get to 200 degrees. hold at 200 for 60 minutes.

now take the kiln up to 1945 degrees at 400 degrees per hour.

hold for 10 minutes at 1945

now take 3 to 4 hours to get back to room temp....

at room temp your mold is ready to cast your glass!
