I guarantee you that you too can find stuff to sell out of the house. Instead of a garage sale which takes a lot of time and planning and effort, you can do a virtual sale on -line. Take a few items and sell them here and there and soon enough you have an extra couple hundred bucks. I focus on sports items because that is what I have and what I know.
1. books and magazines - you may think you would be better off throwing them away. wait, check out ebay and see if these are items people may want. a couple dollars here and there adds up . especially if you have every sports illustrated for the last twenty years
2. old ticket stubs - people will buy a ticket stub for the local high school football game. always associate a player or event with a pro or college ticket
3. old posters - you would be amazed how much you can fetch for an old jordan poster or an old rock and roll poster even
4. autographs - people want to make sure they are real. get them verified if you can or at least give description how you got them. if you got them personally from the player will be more credible than I bought them at Bubba's card shop
There are plenty of other ideas I've got. Stay posted for another edition. I will try and find some new ideas that will help you start a thriving side business or just find some extra cash for another hot summer.
