Beware of rebuilt alternators that say rebuilt and tested...i recently bought one for about half the price of a new one only to have fail on me and have the bike towed(costly) i took it apart and the brushes were worn too short and found that the rotor had a broken wire so i sent it back to this specialist!!!...he cold soldered the wires back together and resent it to me only to have it fail again and have the bike towed again....so now dealing with this genius i wasted more money than i planned to save buying junk from this genius.....but you know i learned you always buy new when it is an alternator for a goldwing.
