All of us have seen sports cards or commemorative cards claiming to be two grams of 22k gold or more. Or first day issue stamps with 22k gold stamps attatched or just gold stamps. While by no means are they without value sometimes they are misrepresnted. The method of making these cards and stamps involves goldleaf bound to cardboard and then pressed in a mold. They are NOT solid gold! As I have stated they are not without value however do not buy them for the gold content. Now there might be solid gold cards and stamps out there for bid but i have yet to buy one and i have broken open the plastic cases and cut stamps out of their plastic protective covers to see what I bought and none yet have been anything goldleaf on cardboard. By all means if you see something you like and want bid on it but don't think your getting solid gold at below market prices.
