…for Dummies Books

What do you think about for Dummies Books? Are they educational? Are the too elementary?

I have found both ways. I like to keep them around for reference and to loan to friends who want to see if they are interested in the subjects like computers or eBay. A lot of the software dummies books actually make more sense than the manual that comes with the software. At least they do not appear to be written by geeks.

I suggest you obtain a ... for Dummie book and after you read it, keep it on the shelf for reference.
