eBay's feedback system is a little displeasing at times when you have someone threatening to leave negative feedback just as a bargaining tool.

I have recently had a buyer buy an item for an event during the weekend. She was very pleased with the item when she recieved it. WELL..after the event, she emailed me and said that it wasn't what she was needing, and wanted her money back!  She has not yet left feedback and says that she will be forced to leave negative if i do not refund her....

This is just one example of feedback extortion!

My policy on feedback is, I ONLY leave feedback after feedback is recieved. It sometimes does not work out, or sometimes i never get feedback for some items, but it slims the chance of people using the feedback system as a bargaining tool.

feedback should be FAIR, HONEST, and SAFE!!  But it is not always that way on eBay.

Be cautious....when buying or selling from someone, check their feedback forum and see what feedback THEY LEFT FOR OTHERS...not just the feedback they recieved.

It will give you an idea of what type of ebayer you are dealing with.
