There are a lot of small animal statues from China labeled "rhinoceros" that are not rhinoceri. Some are water buffalo, or deer, or other animals. Look VERY carefully at the pictures of the items, and it is easy to tell what kind of animal it really is. I can't say much about the materials as labeled, although there seems to be an unnatural variety of jades, and there are identical-appearing items with different garish colors like cheap plastic. Be especially careful about fossils from China, as my latest information is that it is against Chinese law to sell fossils from China. Also many are fakes. Often a "rhino horn" is really a piece of fossil horn coral, and there are currently many so-called "rhino skulls" with horns plastered into the lower jaw, where no rhino ever had one. CAVEAT EMPTOR (let the buyer beware) at least until these cheats are banned.
