I came across this same scam last night.  This seller listed the same telescope for opening bid of $1.00. 

In his description, in several places, he printed, "do not contact me through the ebay email.  I will not answer.  Send all questions to ebay 4884@yahoo.com"  so I sent him an email through yahoo and asked how much it would cost to ship to the USA.  He immediately removed the auction and sent email back telling me that he would sell it to me for $1020, free shipping and send the money through western union.  He has it all ready packed up and waiting for me to go to W.U.  I sent him another email and asked him if he ended the auction because I could no longer find it on ebay.  He wrote back and said he ended it for me and he was waiting for me to send him the money through W.U. to let him know when I sent the money.  I thought he was a bit pushy.  Then I read the telescope scam quide listed and it was about  the same guy.  He removed the auction as soon as someone was the least bit interested so he didn't have to sell it for $1.00.  He wouldn't have to pay ebay for listing it.  I have kept all of the emails he sent including the one with his address.  I am not sure if I should contact ebay about him since I really don't have all of his information.  But ebay and all buyers need to be alerted to this guy.  $1020 or whatever he is trying to sell it for, is alot of money to lose.  It's a shame that people try to ruin a good thing (ebay).
