just a couple of quick tips
- 60% of successful transactions are Buy it now and for the 10 cent surcharge its foolish not to have one in an auction unless you just have no idea what something is worth
- traffic is higher Thursday-Sunday between 6-midnight
- turbo lister is an easy ebay sponsered listing tool ebay's turbo lister home page
- a light solid color background is the best for photographing parts
- a high speed internet connection is your most important money making tool as time is money
- always research ended auctions for your to be listed item and base your opening bid, buy it now, or reserve on last item sold
- never list two of the same item in the same week or if there is another on ebay right now
- have a consistant return policy and honor it
- stick with what you know if you collect british and european bikes best not attempt to start buying up stamp collections to make your fortune
- keep your shipping days down to no more than two as you will go nuts going back and forth to the post office

do make an effort to do favors regaurding shipping ie if the rider needs a clutch cable to get on the road make a special effort to get it to him or her
these are just a few simple trading rules there are many more but this is a good start
