This was one of the best, and easiest modifications around.

I bought a 4 stage lowering kit.

I am no mechanic; Just make sure your bike is raised and blocked. Jack the swing arm up just until the pressure is off of the bolts. Remove the bolts to the right and jiggle them back to push the bolt sleeves back to the left, and remove the bolts (not the sleeves).

Then install the 4 stage lowering arms with the arrows up and towrds the fron of the bike.

I lowered mine the 1.5 and IT IS BEAUTIFUL and I've never bottomed out. !!!  To raise or lower; just jack, support and jack slighly the swing arm. Loosen the bolts and move the bars into the next slot and VIOLA  you have just dropped it to 2.1/4 or raised it to stock..
