It is very tempting when looking for a scooter to see what is for sale on EBay.
There are some beautiful bikes on here shiny two-tone paint jobs, lots of chrome, matching seat covers and maybe even a sidecar. A large number of them are badly and unsafe Vietnamese - Indonesia restorations.

Many times they claim to use new or factory but in truth are old used and damaged items.
When buying a scooter, be sure to inspect it and buy only from a dealer you can trust. Scooters are not toys, never forget that when you ride your life is dependent on that scooter!
I am not trying to sell you anything I just wish more people were informed about this subject.
