So, I got hosed again. Went through this before, years ago. The backstory:
If you are the Buyer, and you pay immediately after the auction ends, haven't you, as the Buyer, met your obligations for positive feedback? If you paid through Pay Pal as the Seller wants, didn't you do as what he/she wanted? In my mind, I should receive positive feedback, and receive it immediately for paying as instructed, and paying literally, within minutes of the auction's end. But no, I received negative feedback, and here's why:
Because I left negative feedback first. The item was not as described. I received the item broken, in two pieces. So I, as the Buyer, went out of my way, contacted the Seller first, and told him that I would be leaving negative feedback because the item was not as described, and broken. I only did this to give the Seller a chance to explain, conduct a partial refund, whatever; anything to make up for it. But no, he ignored his chance for redemption. I didn't receive an answer so I left the negative feedback; and what happens? I get a retaliatory negative feedback. How is that possible?! I met my obligations as the Buyer and PAID immediately after the auction's end; yet I get some amateurish, moronic, juvenile negative feedback calling me an "idiot", or "moron", or whatever. Yeah, I'm an idiot because I bought something from YOU.
So Buyers beware - if you don't get positive feedback within a reasonable amout of time after paying for the item, you may be receiving a couple of unwanted surprises!!
