I purchased 3 different models of roketa bikes in 2006. One was a 200 cc 'full size' bike, the second was a 125 cc pit bike, and the 3rd was a 110 cc 4 wheeler.

All 3 of these do not work.

I Also own a 17 year old Yamaha yz 125, that I take very good care of and a 8 year old Yamaha blaster which is also maintained. Both of these Machines run flawlessly.

My point is this, I took the same care of the roketa machines as I did with my Yamahas. Even at that, all 3 chinese bikes are down. All are electrically related. two of them are stator issues, which I cannot find exact replacement for, and the other is a CDI that is malfunctioned and a cracked engine case. The Yamaha bikes are old, and they still run beautifully.

The 125 cc pit bike failed while trail riding. If your idea of fun is pushing a bike around instead of riding it, go ahead and 'save' money and get a chinese bike.

The four wheeler starter broke off while attempting to crank it over. the cases of these motors are made of 'pot metal' which is very very cheap, and not suitable for any use on any machine. At least we didn't have to push that one around. . .

The 200 cc bike engine case cracked and drained all the oil out right where the shifter lever goes in. The design of these bikes actually incorporates the engine as part of the frame. look closely at the pictures of the chinese dirt bikes. the frame comes in from the back, bolts into the rear of the motor, and then uses the under side of the motor as part of the frame. No other bikes are built this way. . .there's a reason for that. Using cheap metal is bad enough, but expecting it to deal with the kind of forces a REAL frame undergoes and hold up, is just bad engineering.

No chinese bike or four wheeler will save you money. Buy name brand. There is NO support for these machines and Although there are SUPPOSED to be thousands upon thousands of parts available, good luck finding parts that exactly match what model you bought.

I'm out almost 3 grand for these 3 bikes. They just sit in my yard now,and I look for parts, and can't find matches. My kids want to ride, but I cannot fix them for lack of parts. I hope this helps any potential chinese bike customers.

Update: Roketa's are still worthless. Newer models are no different in quality. I wish my neighbor 2 doors down would have told me he was going to buy one before he did. His 6 year old son was so stoked to have a new 4 wheeler. Unfortunately for him, it was made in China. All he did was ride it around their backyard for a few months before it quit working. No warranty. No shops to fix it. You should have seen the look on that kids face. . . I'll gladly spend the extra money to get quality so my kids won't be looking at me like that. Will you?
