and its advertised to be in good condition, but they wont do a return, I had this happen with an 800 dollar boat air conditioning system before, it wouldnt even power on but the seller was saying all items are as is with no warranty, but they described it to be in good condition.  The dispute setups for ebay and paypal are crap, but what gets results is buyers protection onyour credit card, which i used with paypal when i payed for the item.  I called up my CC company, I didnt even know if I had buyers protection,,,,but I told them what happened, and poof, no more charge from paypal for the unit.  A few days later the seller emailed me insulting me and calling me names for messing up their paypal account and disputed with ebay saying I was trying to steal the item,,,,oh yes it even had shipping insurance on it and they were a pain to deal with.  Anyways, they had no choice but to do a claim and have it shipped back, my CC company saved my butt and did things to take care of me, so when paying, use this feature!!!!!!!!
