Many people will search on eBay looking for a radiator, but are unsure if the radiator is the correct one. Here are a few tips on how to determine if you are looking at the correct radiator.
- Be sure you have your correct vehicle information. While it may seem silly, there have been many occurrences where buyers confuse which year or engine size their vehicle is.
- Check the listing information. Don't only check the description in the item title. Most radiators can fit various models, so the listing title will not always be the correct description for your vehicle.
- Look at the picture. Not all sellers on eBay use the exact photo of the radiator, but at Aeon Imports, the picture of the item is what you are going to receive. If the image is not a stock photo, be sure to compare your radiator to the picture. If there is something that is a little different, you might want to consult the seller or a professional to see if it will make a difference.
- Check the core size. You should measure your core size (measure the inner aluminum area) and compare it to the core size information on the listing.
- Check the fitment information. Be sure that the listing you are looking at fits your vehicles year, make, model and engine size. Most of the radiators on eBay are unifit, meaning they will fit an automatic or manual transmission vehicle. A solely automatic transmission radiator can be used by a manual transmission vehicle, but a manual tranmission radiator cannot be used in an automatic transmission vehicle.
