I bought what was supposed to be an LQ9 from the seller hotrod-controls. it was supposed to run great and have low miles and a custom harness. when it got here it initially looked ok but then i couldnt get it to crank. i went back and forth with hotrod-controls about how to connect the custom harness, and then after finally questioning him about the computer possibly being bad he told me that the log file produced by his software indicated that there was an error.then i had to wait for him to get new software for him to correct the problem. once he finally got the new software i sent the computer from south carolina to California 2nd day express with the same return shipping enclosed in the box. i then emailed him to let him know that the package was on its way and i never heard anything back from him. i tried contacting him numerous times and he never responded. i then had ups go to pick up the package and he claimed that he didnt know me. this guy is a just a scammer and should be avoided. in fact i would stay away from this whole are of CA for parts because he just changes his user name when people begins to catch on. there is another person that he scammed on here. you can see what they had to say about him @
and by the way the video that was on the listing for my motor was the same as the listing shown for this guys listing.
