Just a heads up for other sellers of autos on ebay, I recently had an car for sale on ebay listed as 950.00 or Best Offer to my surprise one day after work I came home to find someone had bought my car for the full 950.00 I found that odd because who would buy something when you have the chance to make an offer on it. Anyways after that I started to receive emails some in perfect grammer and english and some so broken up that you could not even understand it. Basically the emails said that the buyer a user with no feedback has a client that is ready to buy my car and the cashiers check is in the mail, and to make sure I cash it right away at my local bank and to call the number of the shipping company right away and they will come and pick up my car. After I begain to feel unsafe about the transaction I called my local police department along with the proper channels on ebay and internet crimes website. I just want people to understand that some people are not so honest, and that he was sending me a fake cashiers check for the wrong amount and then asking me for a check or wire transfer for the overage that he sent and by this time the car would have been picked up and too late for me to do anything. I'm glad I caught on to this lowlifes plan before I was out of a car and cash. The user is no longer registered on ebay but I'm sure he can register again, he was registered in CA, and the contact info ebay had was a fake phone number, also the fake check came from a zip code in New Jersey.
