I placed a bid for a Pontiac Firebird. Outbid, no big deal. About a week later, I started receiving e-mails from "e-bays second chance" center offering the car for my last bid offer.  At first, it was just the offer (no details), and I asked for details. Then it sent details of the car (I was already suspiscious - ding! ding! ding!), offering it for the discount price.  I called the original seller - guess what - the car had been sold and had left the building!  Would never guess by the e-mail I was sent!  Trust no one!
