A year ago I purchased a car through Ebay, from APLUSCARS in Florida. The car was stated as "fully inspected by a certified mechanic". When I got the car, I noticed evidence of a battery fire, with electrical wiring and vacuum problems related to it. Also after a local inspection here, it was obvious the car had a serious accident. The engine motor mount were bent and the left door was replaced with a junkyard door that was then repainted. The A/T transmission has it's 3rd gear missing, and the list goes on.

I complained to the seller (APLUSCARS). No answer. I filled an official dispute through EBAY. The seller never responded, and EBAY never went further with it. The ebay warranty was for under 1000$ and I had to give back more than 20% of it back to ebay for "processing fees".

In short, Ebay did *NOTHING* for me, and I spent 1000$+ to get the transmission fixed, but still have an engine problem, and the body of the car is still bent.

BEWARE. This seller STILL sell, and I later chatted with other ebayers that had the same problem as I had with the seller and, for them too, EBAY took NO responsability and took sometimes WEEKS to answer, to make sure I couldn't meet with the required delays.

Sellers, if you have a complain, you now know what to do..... NOTHING ! Ebay makes so much money out of you they won't even bother and take no action against you if you simply don't answer.
