I too am a Wildfire scooter dealer, they come packaged well. They take some time to get uncrated, but they run great right out of the crate. If you change the oil like the manual says after 1st 50 miles (dealer manual says after 20- 30 minutes running time, with synthetic oil.), you should get a lot of miles from these scooters. Let's face it, if you take care of the scooter it will take care of you. You do need to be some what mechanically inclined to put them together. I sold used scooters and mopeds last year, but decided new is the way to go. Sure you can pay more for a Honda, Yamaha, Kymco, etc. My customers can get almost 3 of my Wildfires for the price of 1 of the others.
