When you make an eBay purchase and you see that "eBay Buyer Protection" seal you feel safe right. You may even feel so safe that you make a higher bid then normal because you feel protected from any false or misleading eBay listing. Don't be fooled even on a high dollar item. Its not if - but WHEN a claim arises, all you get is excuses from eBay. They pin the blame on someone else and long answers that go nowhere. And I mean excuses (from eBay and their auction insurance agency) like: you should have looked at the pictures and not what the seller stated - or - you should have read what the seller said and not go by the pictures. My favorite is "you should have known better." Bottom line is, there is NO EBAY BUYER PROTECTION. eBay's buyer protection is false, misleading and a scam.
