Craig's List.
This is an incredible resource to getting items for eBay listings or auctions. Most communities or surrounding areas have developed pages on the nation wide online site - craigslist.org. This site can be found by typing the above link into your browser and including your town or city name. You may need to include a larger metropolitan area near you if you do not find your exact town. I have been involved for a year now and find it growing every week. It is not for profit nor does it contain any advertisements. It is community created, and, best of all, it's free. I check almost every day.
Categories listed are:
- auto parts
- baby and kid stuff
- barter
- bicycles
- boats
- books
- cars and trucks
- cds / dvds/ vhs
- clothing
- collectibles
- computers and tech
- electronics
- free stuff
- furniture
- garage sales
- general
- household
- items wanted
- jewelry
- motorcycles / scooters
- musical instruments
- recreational vehicles
- sporting goods
- tickets
- tools
Free stuff is the best by far. If you want to take the time to pick the items up, they can be near 100% profitable to you. Minus gas and listing fees. Many times you can find packaging materials too. This category is generally first come, first served. The other areas listed above should be fairly obvious with the exception of barter and items wanted, which do not actually apply to eBay. Household items and vehicles can come very cheap and sometimes require cleaning or fixing. If you are handy, this can also be very profit inducing. A little research is always recommended.
I have my area bookmarked to make my searches very easy and have become quite addicted to looking for bargains.
I am in no way affiliated with this site, I just want to spread the news of this great community resource. Be sure to tell everyone you know.
