Okay, everyone's excited about eBay Live! This Guide is about what to do while you're in Las Vegas, as opposed to what eBay Live has to offer in the way of events, as everyone knows only to expect a great time at eBay Live.

However, there's much to do in Las Vegas in your spare time.  Below is a list of things you should see if you have the time, in addition, many are FREE and a few worth visiting charge a nominal admission charge.

1- Silverton Hotel Aquarium!

A 117,000-gallon saltwater aquarium provides entertainment on a scale one can enjoy only in Las Vegas.

Located in the Mermaid Restaurant & Lounge, the octagonal aquarium is part of the $150 million casino wide expansion and is home to more than 5,000 exotic fish as well as vibrant, breathtaking coral. Also among the fish are three species of stingrays and three species of sharks. Three times a day, passersby can enjoy fish feedings held by a marine biologist who interacts with guests and answers any questions.

COST: ZERO!

2- Bellagio Conservatory!

A don't miss attraction, which if you're into horticulture, this one is sure to please!

Beneath a 55-foot-tall glass ceiling, elaborate floral arrangements fill the bright, airy atrium with eye-catching color and rich fragrance. The epitome of beauty and elegance, the botanical gardens encompass approximately 14,000 square feet and provide an endless array of photo opportunities.

Flowers for the Bellagio Conservatory are imported from all across North America and temporarily kept in a 27,000-square-foot on-site greenhouse which serves as a staging area.

Okay, lots of walking involved however, it's a beautiful attraction!

COST: ZERO!

3 - Exotic Car Show a Caesars Palace!

Located in The Forum Shops at Caesars, Exotic Cars displays more than 40 vehicles with prices more than $1 million. Extremely rare and sought after, they draw thousands of people to the two-story, 34,000-square-foot showroom each day.

If you want to discover more about any of the cars on display, vehicle specifics can be checked out on several interactive touch screens readily available around the showroom.

COST: 5 BUCKS!

4- The Freemont Street Experience!

With its $70 million light canopy, $17 million in upgrades and 550,000-watt sound system, the Fremont Street Experience is sure to mesmerize.

Positioned 90 feet above Fremont Street, the attraction stretches 1,400 feet and consists of 12.5 million synchronized LED modules, including 180 strobes and eight robotic mirrors per block. It's capable of producing millions of color combinations, animation and video feeds, allowing the display to switch from a swirling ocean setting to a television broadcast in minutes.

The Fremont Street Experience is the perfect place to take in the "real" Vegas. With the groundbreaking technology of the sound and light show alongside some of Vegas' oldest and best-known neon signs (Glitter Gulch's Vegas Vickie and the equally recognizable Vegas Vic), the spirit of Las Vegas is truly represented.

5- Las Vegas Preview Show at the Venetian!

Want to gamble and love slot machines but don't want to lose money? Read on...

Have you ever seen a product, movie or television show and thought to yourself how much better it could have been if you had been consulted on it first?

Well here's your chance. Now you can visit the Las Vegas Preview Studios at the Venetian Hotel and Casino and become a part of the product development process. Take part in the advertising and product testing of a wide array of products, including movie trailers, television shows, slot machines and even food.

For media related products, participants sit in modern screening rooms and view a new television show or movie trailer. Throughout the viewing, you are able to gauge how you feel toward a product or concept using a "dial" on a handheld device. After the screening, which can last anywhere from 15 to 50 minutes depending on the product, you get to tell the producers what you think in a 10- to 15-minute automated survey.

Those involved in product testing for slot machines are asked to play the machines for a brief period of time. After playing, a series of questions is asked about different features of the slot machines, such as payout frequency and appearance.

COST: ZERO!

5- MGM Lion Habitat!

Nestled in the heart of the MGM Grand, the lions of this Las Vegas resort are clearly the kings of this neon jungle.

Separated from the lions by only one and a half inches of glass, visitors can watch as these majestic creatures feed, play, groom themselves and sleep. Informational placards are strung along the glass wall outside the exhibit, offering interesting facts about the lions. For example, did you know that lions sleep an average of 18 to 20 hours a day? And did you also know that, as adults, lions reach 8 feet in length and can weigh more than 500 pounds?

When they're not on display, the lions live on an 8.5-acre ranch located 12 miles from the MGM Grand. They are cared for by exotic animal trainer and conservationist Keith Evans. The lions are bathed and blown dry before being transported in a specially designed van to the MGM Grand each day.

Rotated in and out of the exhibit throughout the day, the lions are kept in the habitat for only six hours at a time. Generally, only a few lions will be on display at any given time, but there are 31 in all -- 20 females and 11 males.

6- M&M's Attraction for the Chocolate Lover!

M&M's World uses ingenuity and a whole lot of sugar to make an impression on Vegas.

Four floors of retail space devoted to our favorite chocolate-covered candies? It just doesn't get much better than that! Located in the Showcase Mall, the mouth-watering exhibit features Red, Yellow and the rest of the brightly colored gang on everything from T-shirts and golf-club covers to calculators and martini glasses.

The first floor of the 26,000-square-foot attraction looks like an average gift shop, but as you reach the back and see the escalators climbing toward multiple levels, you realize there is much more than meets the eye. Each floor gets more exciting as you make your way to the top, and just when you think you've seen it all, the folks at M&M World outdo themselves once again.

The attraction features a 3-D movie theater, the films rotate and viewers are rewarded with a surprise treat as they exit. There also is a wall of M&M's, displaying the sweet treat in nearly every color imaginable, from aqua green to gold. But perhaps the most exciting exhibit in the attraction is the M&M Racing Team area. The exhibit is centered on a replica of #38, the M&M's sponsored race car currently driven by Elliott Sadler in the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series.

COST: ZERO!

7- Wildlife Habitat at the Flamingo!

Amid the neon lights and slot machines, the Flamingo offers a refreshing oasis with its Wildlife Habitat.

Guests will feel as if they have been transported to a tropical island as they take refuge in the habitat, located next to the Flamingo's pool area.

Full of photo opportunities, the habitat is filled with lush foliage imported from around the world including varieties of pines, palms and magnolia. Visitors can take a stroll on winding walkways alongside streams and waterfalls, or on bridges over lagoons and ponds. Benches scattered throughout the area allow guests the chance to sit back and enjoy the view.

The Wildlife Habitat at the Flamingo is home to more than 300 birds, including Impeyn and silver pheasants, Gambel's quail, a Crown crane, two ibis, swans, ducks and parrots. However, the most notable are likely the Chilean flamingos and the African penguins.

But birds aren't the only wildlife that can be seen in the habitat; there is an abundance of turtles and koi as well.

Visitors also can watch as the penguins are fed a healthy diet of smelt, capelin, herring and vitamins each day at 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m.

COST: ZERO!

8- Sunset Stampede at Sam's Town!

Similar to an old Western, the Sunset Stampede transports visitors back in time through the use of water, lasers, lights and animation.

The eight-minute show begins with the plaintive howl of an animatronics wolf, which suddenly appears at the top of the mountain. The wolf is joined by other wildlife, including a bear and an eagle.

The fountains come alive, shooting up to eight stories high and dancing along to a symphonic score recorded especially for Sam's Town by the Indianapolis Philharmonic Orchestra. The show chronicles the Western pioneer experience.

Sunset Stampede is located in Mystic Falls Park, a 25,000-square-foot live forest within an atrium. There is plenty of room for viewing the show, although those standing up front are likely to get a bit wet. A bar situated in the middle of the park provides a good vantage point while offering onlookers the chance to stay dry.

Once the show concludes, Mystic Falls becomes peaceful once more. Filled with lush foliage, cascading waterfalls and a babbling brook, the spot is the ideal location for relaxation. Wooden benches are scattered throughout the park, providing a place to sit and take in the view. And for those interested in a leisurely stroll, stone walkways lined with rustic hanging lanterns weave their way through the park.

COST: ZERO!

9- The NEON Museum!

Who would have ever thought that a Museum of just Neon Signs could attract so many annual visitors? This is a bit of old Las Vegas preserved!

The face of Vegas has changed over the years as many old, historic hotels have been imploded to make way for the new mega-resorts of today. All that remains of many of those old properties is the neon signs that once adorned them.

The Neon Museum, currently an outdoor walking tour, is located downtown at the Fremont Street Experience. It was created by the city of Las Vegas to preserve that piece of Vegas history.

Not only are the signs historical, with their spectacular colors, intricate animation and sheer size, they are also considered by many to be true works of art.

Whether you go the museum to rekindle your memories of the Vegas that was or you are seeing the signs for the first time, it's an interesting and enjoyable attraction.

The Neon Museum officially opened in 1996 with the installation of the Hacienda Horse and Rider sign at the intersection of the Fremont Street Experience and Las Vegas Boulevard. The sign was originally created in 1967 for the Hacienda Hotel, which was imploded in 1996 to make way for the Mandalay Bay Resort.

It's pretty bright place and you might want to bring your sunglasses with you!

COST: ZERO!

10- Go to the RIO for Carnivale!

It's Carnivale every day at the Rio, with the hotel-casino's lavish Masquerade Show in the Sky.

The sexy new show, redesigned by Dick Foster Productions, takes visitors on a journey through the world's greatest celebrations with energetic dancers, exotic costumes and plenty of fun, fun, fun.

But it's much more than a sky show that takes place in the Masquerade Village -- which, patterned after a northern Italian village, features shops, restaurants and a wine cellar -- the party begins with a parade led by Rio Rita, with acrobats, mimes and the like -- a true party in which patrons mingle with performers.

The show's floats (the main two of which weigh 20,000 pounds apiece) remain intact; however, its choreography and length have been given an overhaul -- once merely 12 minutes long, the show's length has more than doubled. Dancers perform to "Swing and Disco," "Venice Internationale," "Contemporary Street Show" and "Beach Party."

And what better way to take part in the spectacle than becoming part of it? For a mere $9.95, patrons can get into costume and ride the floats. After meeting at the Masquerade Village's main stage, riders are funneled backstage and given beads and hats (including a souvenir medallion) before taking their spot on the floats.

COST: $13.99 (and you can't throw beads at the crowd) to be a Show Participant! Memories - Priceless!

10- Mirage Volcano Show!

A peaceful waterfall during the daylight hours, the Mirage volcano comes to life once darkness falls.

After a few moments of foreboding silence, the cascading water begins to churn and a low rumble emerges from the heart of the once-dormant volcano.

The eruption kicks into high gear as bright orange flames leap about 100 feet above the water, illuminating the night sky. As the fire spreads across the lagoon, those standing close enough can feel the temperature rise. Several smaller explosions erupt, and eventually the volcano goes quiet once more.

The lagoon at the Mirage spans from the Forum Shops entrance on the Strip to Treasure Island and, in addition to the volcano, features waterfalls, sculptures and tropical landscaping.

The best spot to watch the volcano erupt is on the Strip side, but you'll need to arrive about 10 minutes early if you want to find a viewing spot. The crowds flock to the attraction all week long; after all, it's not every day you get to see a volcano erupt in the middle of the desert.

COST: ZERO!

Extra Tip: Walk down to Treasure Island and catch the Pirate Show and make it a FREE Double Matinee Evening!

11- Circus Circus Casino!

Continuous circus acts perform at Circus Circus. Try the rotating bar on the second floor. It's got a great view of the performers above, kids playing carnival/arcade games nearby, and gamblers below. It's a surreal slice of old-style Vegas. Soak it in before it goes away.

COST: ZERO!

OUR NUMBER ONE PICK NOT TO BE MISSED!

Okay, you'll need a rental car for this one and if you have four people to share the expense then you can figure this will cost about $15.00 per person.

Red Rock Canyon is just outside of Las Vegas. It's the most beautiful Desert Park in the World!  You can drive through the entire park and still enjoy the entire event, while just riding in the car - with the air conditioning on!

You'll come across red rock boulders, which are huge and you'll see something that might look like ants on the them. Those ants are actually rock climbers going up!!! You can spend an entire afternoon at Red Rock Canyon so bring plenty of sunscreen and water!
